I am pleased to announce that one of my pieces, Passionate Anticipation, has been accepted into the City of Lone Tree: Exploring the Light Photo Show.
The photograph features a bull elk standing atop a small hill overlooking the Moraine Valley to keep an eye on the other male elk who were attempting to pick from his harem. The photograph was made on a crisp autumn morning in Rocky Mountain National Park, CO.
The piece for this show will be printed directly onto a 24" x 16" piece of aluminum and will have a mid-gloss coating applied. The mount, a black edge exhibit mount, will allow it to float about 3/4" off of the wall. The piece will be available for sale during the show. The price for this signed, limited edition, and ready to hang art piece will be $400.
The show will run at the Lone Tree Arts Center from March 16th through May 17th. An opening reception for the 3-month show will be on Saturday, April 1st from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Refreshments and appetizers will be served. For more information please visit the show's website.
